Not all the projects have stimulated me and although I perhaps didn't enjoy them as much, it is clear that not every project you work on as a graphic designer will give you the same thrill.

THE ALCHEMY OF DESIGN was my least favourite project. I find science difficult and I don't enjoy it in the slightest, I hated having undergo scientific research which I considered a poor use of my time in comparison to learning technical skills or even theory. However, I took this opportunity to make an animation and learn the basics of Adobe Animate - Has this made me a better designer as a result? Probably not, however it has made me more versatile and I now have more skills available to offer.

SELFIE - This project I felt was childish, and moreover it felt to me like a desperate attempt of a teacher to engage their students with something "cool" or "hip". Also, to me and to most people my age (who I have come across), selfies are a quick way of replying, there is not much thought that goes into a selfie, so by default this project was already pushing you to take unnatural selfies, as they were forced and out of context. However, this project did make me think of how to present less visually pleasing imagery, aesthetically. I finalised this project by presenting twelve selfies all in high contrast black and white, which I felt gave them a sense of flow.

I now want to focus on sound in its entirety and consider it as a theme in itself - I'm going to explore the different visual effects of sound and how one achieves them.
